I’m Matthew, but you can just call me Matt. I’m a UX designer well-integrated in nerdy internet culture 🙂
From a young age, I’ve had a curious mind. I really just liked, and still do like, just figuring out even how the smallest things in our world work, how our systems all interconnect with each other. Combined with my deep empathy and sympathy for people, UX design was a natural fit for me. Since 2021, I’ve been creating new designs for complex systems, with some of my oldest work still continuing to be used in the present day. In a lot of that time, I’ve also dabbled into exploring different disciplines and seeing how they can be supported with new designs.
I’ve completed my undergraduate studies in June 2025 in Communication, Culture, Information and Technology at the University of Toronto Mississauga. However, I’m still devising unique and original designs to this day!
Outside of design, in my free time, you’ll most certainly find me grinding it out on video games, diving into some new shows, or randomly getting vocaloid songs stuck in my head for months at a time. I also love going out to explore the city. Sometimes I might take something from my adventures and jot it down in my sketchbook for a design idea!
